Maléna wins Junior Eurovision 2021 for Armenia!

ԿԱԴՐԻՑ ՆԵՐՍ ՈՒ ԴՈՒՐՍ (դիտել մինչև վերջ)
Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Մալենան «Քամի-քամի» երգով հաղթանակ բերեց Հայաստանին Մանկական Եվրոտեսիլ 2021-ում:
Ժյուրիի քվեարկության արդյունքում Հայաստանը զբաղեցրեց միայն 3-րդ հորիզոնականը, իսկ շնորհիվ մեզ բոլորիս ջանքերի' հեռուստադիտողի քվեարկությամբ, մեր մասնակիցը 224 միավորով բարձրացավ և հայտնվեց բաղձալի առաջին հորիզոնականում։ Երկրորդ տեղում Լեհաստաննն է, երրորդում՝ Ֆրանսիան։

Հայաստանը երկրորդ անգամ հաղթեց եվրոպական երգի մրցույթում:

Maléna wins Junior Eurovision 2021 for Armenia!

YESTERDAY, 19:38 CET

After 19 fantastic performances from our young artists in France, 14 year old Maléna of Armenia was crowned winner of Junior Eurovision 2021 in a live broadcast from La Seine Musicale in Paris.

Maléna’s song Qami Qami impressed both viewers and juries, earning a grand total of 224 points, which was enough to finish in first place, with runners-up Poland and hosts France scoring 218 and 187 points respectively.

This is Armenia’s second win, after Vladimir Arzumanyan won in 2010 with Mama.

A total of 4.3 million valid votes were cast.

Participant profile: Maléna

In 2020, Maléna had been internally selected to perform Why at the Contest before Armenia withdrew. She will now fulfil her destiny with a brand new song.

The young musician from Yerevan is a talented cellist, and has dreamed about representing Armenia for many years; she participated in her nation’s selection competition back in 2018.

Maléna spends a lot of time in the studio, experimenting with different music genres and joining in with songwriting workshops… and we’ll soon see the results of her creativity!
